Wade Fernandez

Website, Grades 4-8

Wade Fernandez lives on the Menominee Reservation in Northeastern Wisconsin and tours internationally performing his music. He finds inspiration for his compositions in nature and draws from musical genres from all over the world.

Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin is a collection of educational media resources for general music programs serving grades 4-8, and is a collaboration with Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA).

Videos, an audio file, lyrics, and an educator engagement guide is available to share Wade Fernandez’s story, along with his song “Sawaenemiyah” (We Are Blessed).
