In this teacher-created lesson plan, students simulate the
Ho-Chunk being removed from their land, whether it be by force, choice, or trickery. Modifications for emergent bilingual students are provided.

Note to educators: Students may become frustrated or question why they must move from their area during this lesson, causing them to want to quit the activity. Therefore, prepare a plan ahead of time in the event this occurs.
