Wisconsin Indian Treaties and Tribal Sovereignty

Teach your students about Wisconsin Native cultures, political structures, and relationships to the environment with Wisconsin Indian Treaties and Tribal Sovereignty. Students will explore Wisconsin American Indian’s relationship with the Federal government, treaties, reservations, and rights and cultures.

These K-12 lessons are divided into three sections (elementary, middle school, and high school) with each section containing nine specific activities that build upon each other.
